ROBERT H. OPIRA - Executive Director
Robert is a founding director of GLACCR. Robert has extensive experience in peace and conflict resolution and has worked with a number of local and international organizations including World Vision Uganda, ACORD, Amnesty International, and Chaford. Robert areas of expertise include peacebuilding, conflict resolution, regional security, development, project management, humanitarian intervention, and social development. Robert also has a wide experience in consultancy and has worked as a consultancy for a number of development and humanitarian organizations in Uganda.
DAVID OCAN – Programme Manager CSM Project
David is the Programme Manager for the USAID funded Conflict Sensitivity Mainstreaming Project. David’s areas of expertise are peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and development. Before joining GLACCR, David worked with World Vision Uganda for eight years, serving in different positions. David has also worked as development consultant with a number of development and humanitarian organizations in Uganda.
SOLOMON OKELLO – Finance and Administration Officer
Before joining GLACCR as Finance and Administrative Officer, Solomon has worked with a number of organizations in Uganda serving at various capacities. These include World Vision Uganda, Internews network, and Vision in Action. Solomon is a financial management expert and has also worked as a financial consultant with a number of organizations in Uganda.
CHRISANTHA ACHEN – Administrative Assistant
Chrisantha joined GLACCR after graduating from Gulu University. She has very good knowledge and skills in office administration. She has worked for a number of years in private companies as office administrator.
