Graduate Internship Programme

GLACCR provides young graduate students with opportunities for internship for a period of 3 to 6 months. Interested young graduates with career interest in peace and conflict resolution should e-mail us their curriculum vitae and a cover letters plus three referees at least three months before the proposed start date to ropira@glaccr.org

The Graduate Internship Programme enables young graduates to gain practical work experience in peace and conflict resolution, integrate theoretical knowledge and skills acquired in classrooms with practice, and develop long term career interests in peace and conflict resolution that will prepare them to become regional leading experts in the field

Interns are involved in conflict research, writing articles for newsletters, discussions on topical issues, developing training materials, writing training reports, and facilitating trainings. Interns will do their research on specific topics of their interests and at the end of their internship; they are expected to produce scholarly research reports on their chosen topics.

Interns are placed under the supervision of experienced staff who will act as mentors during the internship. While interns will be expected to meet all their expenses, GLACCR will provide them with facilities including office space, computers, books, and opportunities to participate in trainings and field activities.
